ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 has begun finally and the first match of Pakistan team was with West Indies in which they got badly defeated. Pakistan cricket team has been crushed by West Indies team by seven wickets in one-sided World Cup match. It was the opening match of the mega World Cup event and the team faced humiliation and disappointment from the nation.

In a post-match press conference, Sarfaraz Ahmed seemed hopeful and determined for next match in the tournament. Sarfaraz Ahmed said, “If you lose the toss in these conditions you will lose early wickets and it’s hard to come back into the game. I think we have to bat positively, but we didn’t do it well today. It was a bad day for us; I’m very confident my team will bounce back.” He further continues, “Yes, it was disappointing but I trust my team that they will perform better in the tournament and we will try to forget this match and will come back in the tournament.”

The caption of Pakistan cricket team Sarfaraz Ahmed also accepted their mistakes of shot selection he said, “I think our shot selection was not good and we lost a number of a batsman to short pitch deliveries”.

Moreover, the former bowler Shoaib Akhtar tweets after the match and encourage the team to play bravely against the opponents and represent your country in that way.
